Cryptology studies secure communication. Cryptology research group consists of professors Ahto Buldas and Helger Lipmaa, associate professor Jan Willemson, senior researcher Peeter Laud, and several students. We do active research in differential cryptanalysis, signature schemes, cryptographic protocols, privacy-preserving data mining, PKI, time stamping, language-based security and Dolev-Yao model.
